Hi, I'm Shelly!

I'm a professional photgrapher specializing in Weddings, Music, Events, Head Shots, Seniors and Fine Art and I'm based in Daphne, AL.

Growing up in Memphis, TN I used to play around with my grandmother's Kodak instamatic camera all the time. I got my first "real" camera when I was 14 and I've been shooting ever since. I love to photograph people, places and things, whatever moves me. I've been honored to be awarded numerous awards for my work over the years. I've lived all over the US and spent a number of years in Nashville, TN as well as the Emerald Coast of FL where I still work extensively.

I've served as the in house photographer for "Music City Roots," Bluegrass Underground and The 30A Songwriters Festival. My music, wedding, editorial and travel photography has appeared in many local, national and international publications including USA Today, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Southern Living, Garden and Gun, VIE, Fretboard Journal, Bluegrass Unlimited, Emerald Coast Magazine and American Songwriter to name a few. I've also served as tour photographer for various musical acts over the years but I now primarily shoot weddings, events, seniors and head shots. My subjects often change but my style remains the same. I love to get close to what I am shooting and really try to give the viewer an intimate feel and a front row seat. I am always striving to capture emotion. No matter my subject, I try to convey an intimate vibrancy.
